Cheraman Masjid Restoration Inauguration

The restoration of Cheraman Masjid is inaugurated by Hon'ble Governor of Kerala Sri Arif Mohammed Khan. Benny Kuriakose have designed and planned the restoration of the first mosque in India. This is happening after a long wait of more than 6 years of making the design. The work got delayed due to various reasons.

PORTUGUESE DELEGATION TO MUZIRIS

On 11 September 2019, a 26 member delegation from the National Centre for Culture, Portugal visited Kottappuram and Pallipuram Forts. There was a discussion/meeting with the delegation in Grand Hyatt, Kochi on the possible areas of collaboration in the future. Ms. Helena Serra and Dr. Anisio Franco led the Portuguese team. Prof. Kesavan Veluthat, Prof. Michael Tharakan, Sri. Rubin DCruz, Sri Nowshad Padiyath and me represented the Muziris Heritage Project.
