Spice Route Initiative by Kerala Government - Indian Express

The article in the Indian Express talks about the Kerala government's Spice Route Initiative. The initiative to revive the port that was once the pinnacle of Muziris trade was unveiled in the presence of 29 representatives from countries that were on the erstwhile spice circuit. The meeting was organised by the Kerala government along with UNESCO. In addition to restoring Muziris, the initiative makes an effort to document the historical significance of the neighbourhood. For example, about 25 museums and about 75 significant historical sites are suggested for development together.
