Where is this village in Kerala?

The vernacular architecture of a place is developed based on the climate, materials, social and cultural aspects of the community etc. When I went to Hungary, my architect friend told me that he will take to me a world heritage site and he took me to this remote village in Hungary. Holloko as it is called looks like some of the buildings in Kerala and the similarities between the traditional architecture of Kerala and this place surprised me. If it was in Bali or Thailand, I would not have been surprised. The interesting thing is that my architect friend has never visited Kerala and he had no idea of what Kerala architecture is. This village was developed in the 17th and 18th centuries and is a living example of rural life. There are three museums and a church in the village.
