Yesterday I was having a brief discussion with Sekar James, the famous landscape architect (https://www.masterplanlandscapes.com/main.html), who have worked with many foreign architectural firms. I asked him why do the Indian clients go after the foreign firms. Are they really superior in terms of quality of work?
His answers were;
*The foreign firms follow the systems. They work only five days a week; even if we work for seven days a week, the output is less.
*The foreign architects and their attitude to works are very different, they do not have a casual attitude. They follow deadlines.
*There are very few errors in their drawings.
*They are not innovative always, sometimes they are not aware of the local context and situation.
