It is more than 20 years since I shifted to Chennai and it was for doing Dakshinachitra. Everyday morning, I was in Dakshinachitra trying to solve the 'jigsaw puzzles' mentioned in the article and returned only in the evening. My association with Dakshinachitra started as early as 1984 when I met Mrs. Deborah Thiagarajan after the introduction by Laurie Baker with whom I was gettting trained. I started doing research work on traditional buildings in Kerala. In fact, my career went almost parallel with Dakshinachitra and it has a major role. I am credited with the Kerala section and the public buildings in Dakshinachitra. My association still continues.
