Conservation of Crafts and Technology

Many traditional techniques are on the verge of extinction. Most of these can be used even today. Athangudi tiles or Chettinad tiles is one of them. It does not need any firing or use any electricity. Completely handmade. There are many more techniques and materials which are sustainable.

Most traditional arts and crafts depended on architecture. Even now there are people who can do these although their number is small.
