"An article written by Benny Kuriakose and Rubin D’Cruz throws light on the concept and aims of the Muziris Heritage Project. The history of Muziris, an active port in the 1st century BC in the Ernakulam and Thrissur districts of Kerala, is outlined in the article.

The Muziris Heritage Project focuses on preserving the cultural heritage of the region through historical research, archaeological excavations, integrated heritage conservation, and tourism development. It aims to provide public access to historic buildings and sites within the framework of a public-private partnership model.
