"The discussion around the Muziris Heritage Conservation Project is covered in the Mathrubhumi Weekly article. The Kerala government's delegate, Shri VD Satheesan, an MLA, also took part in the discussion. He clarified the government's position on the Muziris Project.

The Muziris project should not be seen as a tourism project. It is a heritage conservation project that integrates the area's historical heritage monuments, nature, and the local people's livelihoods. The regions of Paravur and Kodungallur have many heritage sites. The Dutch Palace at Chendamangalam, Paliam Nalukettu, Jewish Temples at Chendamangalam and Paravur, Vypeekota Seminary, Kottapuram Fort, temples, shrines, and Cheraman Masjid, and many more with a rich heritage will be covered under the conservation plan.

This study of Kerala's history and the study of its culture will reach a new level with the implementation of the Muziris project.
