The resort is close to the historic town of Kanyakumari, beside the gorgeous Chittar Lake. The interior design was done by Krithika Subramaniam. Anantya Resort has a very earthy appearance and charm. Lakshmy Ashok, the director, has contributed very much along with both the architectural designers, to bring the Lakeside Resort to this level, making it one of the finest resorts in Kanyakumari.

The reception area, nestled within a thicket of rubberwood trees, previewed what else was in store in this charming green resort, with its curved tiled roofs, water bodies, and the absence of walls blurring the line between the exteriors and inner spaces. The vernacular sentiments were loud in the decor, be it in the furniture, the cement flooring, or the structure opted for. A blending of the rustic with the tones of Kerala was brought in, fusing finely with a large twinge of contemporary style. Designed by Benny Kuriakose, of Benny Kuriakose and Associates, Anantya is totally earthy and rustic in its appeal.
